# 2.5.0 release notes October 04, 2022 NGINX Instance Manager 2.5.0 release notes ## Upgrade Paths {#2-5-0-upgrade-paths} NGINX Instance Manager 2.5.0 supports upgrades from these previous versions: - 2.2.0 - 2.4.0 If your NGINX Instance Manager version is older, you may need to upgrade to an intermediate version before upgrading to the target version. ## What's new {#2-5-0-whats-new} This release includes the following updates: - [icon: feature] **Track NGINX Plus usage over time** When viewing your NGINX Plus instances in the Instance Manager web interface, you can set a date and time filter to review the [NGINX Plus instance count](/nim/licensing-and-reporting/report-usage-connected-deployment.md) for a specific period. Also, you can use the Instance Manager REST API to view the lowest, highest, and average number of NGINX Plus instances over time. - [icon: feature] **New helm charts for each release of Instance Manager** Each release of Instance Manager now includes a helm chart, which you can use to easily [install Instance Manager on Kubernetes](/nim/deploy/kubernetes/deploy-using-helm.md).
